For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good : but me ye have not always. She hath done what she could : she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying." SERMON II. (Page 18.) PALM SUNDAY — EVENING. JESUS ENTERING JERUSALEM. Luke xix. 37 — 40. "And when He was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen ; saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto Him, Master, rebuke Thy disciples. And He answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." SERMON III. (Page 35.) MONDAY IN PASSION WEEK. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny Me thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly." SERMON VI. (Page 96.) THURSDAY IN PAS8ION WEEK. JESUS BEFORE PILATE. John xix. 8, 9. John xx. 16 , 17 "Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto Him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her; Touch Me not ; for I am not yet ascended to My Father." SERMON IX. (Page 149.) EASTER DAY — EVENING. JESUS REIGNING. 1 Corinthians xv. 25 , 26 "For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."
